MEET ALLEN LOWE, ABLE CONCRETE FIELD SUPERVISOR AND SALES MANAGER

Allen Lowe, Field Supervisor and Sales Manager at Able Concrete has more than 45 years of experience in concrete, including supervision of concrete projects in the Hampton Roads region.


Allen retired from the City of Newport News Engineering Department in 1997 where he was an Inspector overseeing the construction of roadways in the city. Even prior to retiring from his fulltime position with the city, Allen had started A B Concrete which specialized in the construction of large concrete slabs for warehouses and supermarkets. The company branched out into residential construction of driveways, patios and sidewalks specializing in broom finish and exposed aggregate applications.


In 2005, A B Concrete reorganized as Able Concrete LLC. Today, Allen continues the proud tradition of excellence and professional service established from its beginnings as A B Concrete in Newport News. The company is home-based in Hampton, VA and services all cities and counties on the greater Virginia Peninsula.
